Case: The Endocrine Society contacted GGLLC about a new media kit design that would allow for different sections to stand out equally and at once upon opening the media kit. Different options were discussed with the client based on their needs, and a 9x12 folder with saddle-stitched pages was chosen.

Solution: The content resulted in 12 stepped pages, the smallest of which is 6.5x12 inches and the widest 9x12. The pages in between increase in width in 0.5-inch increments as they "step" to the back of the folder. This allows for the section headers to be visible all at once, as they are set at a 90-degree angle on the outer edges of the pages.

The inside left of the folder can accommodate inserts in its 4-inch pocket as well as a business card. The color scheme was chosen from the client's existing color palette for branding purposes.

A successful media kit design must keep in mind not only its "shelf life" but also be customized to meet the needs of the people who will be distributing it while reflecting the mission of the organization.
